Ever wonder why and how Khloe Kardashian hooked up with rapper French Montana so quickly after her melodramatic ill-fated marriage to Lamar Odom came to an end? Nearly four months later Kardashian followers finally have their answer.
Allegedly, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner has been offering Montana a huge paycheck to appear regularly on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. He is also planned to be a recurring guest star on their upcoming spinoff show, Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons. And get this; Jenner struck a side deal with the rapper to all make it happen. Kris serves as an executive producer on both reality shows.
This all came to light because E!, the network that broadcasts the Kardashian shows, are all balking over the platinum selling rapper’s hefty TV salary. Network executives think it’s too expensive, don’t think he’s worth the money and don’t want to pay him.
Montana all pretty much confirmed his man-for-hire status with The Daily News by explaining his lucrative reality TV deal this way, “Me just being apart of her life, they recorded me,” said Montana. “[They] asked me for my permission to air my footage out, and they wanted to give me a check to do it, give me a contract, make me a part of it.”
So will E! fork over the big bucks to keep Montana apart of Khloe’s TV life? For the answer to that question stay tuned.
But, crack addiction or not, you never heard of Khloe’s ex Lamar having to pay ladies to hang out with him. C’mon Khloe, surely you can do better than that!
