The sad, downward spiraling story of Lamar Odom has taken a confusing turn as of Thursday. Sources close to the troubled pro baller told TMZ say contrary to previous reports, Odom has not checked himself into rehab.
This conflicts with earlier accounts reported on Sports Illustrated.com that said Lamar had started treatment for drug addiction at a rehab facility. The report did not specify when or where the 32-year old had allegedly started the program, even though Odom was seen out and about in public last weekend.
For those who may have been living under rock and have missed the news, it’s been widely reported that Odom has been struggling with drug addiction for the past several years. The husband of Khloe Kardashian recently developed a crack addiction and he was arrested last Friday with a DUI charge.
The Kardashian family is very concerned because Lamar has been incommunicado with the clan and Khloe. Kim K’s sister has made it clear that if Odom doesn’t clean up their marriage is over.
