The sad marriage saga of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom is almost over; the reality star sister of Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from her basketball star husband on December 13. But it has been reported that the two are in daily contact.
Sources tell Radaronline.com, “Khloe has been in constant contact with Lamar daily since filing for divorce … she is making sure he is taking care of responsibilities with his DUI, and meeting with his trainer. It’s definitely a mother-son type of relationship.”
But the regular communication isn’t a sign that two are reuniting. “There are zero plans for the former couple to reconcile,” the source continues. “Both are very amicable right now, which is a good sign for the divorce. It should be quick, and no drama.”
In an exclusive interview with British Cosomopolitan, Khloe admitted that she’s moving on and not looking back. “I’m excited for this year to be over. I need a good fresh start,” she says. “We can’t fix our mistakes and imperfections…You get what you give out in life,” Khloe added. “I don’t regret anything about my life. My life has made me who I am at this moment and I’m very happy with who I am.
Maybe the fact that she’s quietly dating Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp is helping to mend her heart and give her life new zest. The duo spent Christmas eve at mom’s Kris Jenner’s bash and the day after Christmas the two were spotted working out together at a Los Angeles gym.
Well so long and goodbye 2013, it sounds as if Khloe K is already enjoying her own personal Happy New Year.
